Delete Account & Data

How to request deletion of your account and associated data

You can have your account and the personal data associated with it deleted at any time. Choose whichever option below fits your situation — you do not need to be signed in to make a request.

If you can still sign in

Delete your account yourself, right away. Open Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone, and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and the personal data stored with it, and it cannot be undone.

Go to Settings

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to your account, or you would like data beyond your account removed, email us from the address on your account. Include the email address on your account and, if you belong to a group, the group's name. We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details.
  • Your personal profile information, including your name, email address, and group membership.
  • Personal data you entered while using the toolkit, such as your Code of Conduct acknowledgment or Conflict of Interest disclosure.

Official records that belong to your group's governance history, such as adopted bylaws and meeting minutes, may remain with your group and its owner. Limited billing records may be retained where the law requires it. Any remaining data is deleted or anonymized once the request is processed.
